Our partnership with North of Tyne Combined Authority (NTCA) began in 2021, influenced by our vision to provide accessible, high-quality adult training beyond the West Midlands.
RMF and NTCA share the common goal of removing as many barriers to training and subsequent employment as we possibly can.
HOW WEWORK WITHNOTCA
We are proud to be part of NTCA’s Skills Bootcamp programme, designing a construction bootcamp based in Blyth, Northumberland to help local residents upskill and find employment in a growing industry within the region.
Initially offering training for CPCS tickets in Articulated Dump Truck and Forward Tipping Dumper, we have secured NTCA’s continued support to expand our Bootcamp and offer more free construction courses in Northumberland.
We received further funding to deliver two new courses in the region: CPCS Plant and Vehicle Marshalling, and the NVQ Level 2 in Rail Engineering and Track Maintenance, with Personal Track Safety training.
As part of our commitment to delivering outcomes-focused education, our learners train at an authentic training site to ensure newcomers to the industry have a thorough understanding of the working environment before securing employment.
