From our beginnings over two decades ago, RMF has built its reputation brick by brick beyond construction services, to become a leading labour supply and adult education provider.
Throughout this transformation, our goal has remained the same, to create change within social infrastructure by empowering local communities to upskill and scale up their careers in ways they didn’t think possible.
We offer our services to all - no learner gets left behind. We work regularly with prisons, job centres, charities and philanthropic organisations, to guarantee even the most vulnerable in society can access an opportunity through RMF.

2000
RMF Construction is founded by Ray McGee , proudly hailing from Donegal, Ireland. RMF has remained Birmingham-based since its inception, and Ray remains at the helm to this day

2014
After many years of success contracting across multiple construction projects, RMF confirm their participation in CFO3, a funded scheme by HMPPS to help reduce recidivism by offering education and job outcomes for prison leavers. RMF’s foray into training officially starts.

RMF Group is founded as a parent company for our construction services and newly emerging training services.

2016
RMF launches Fresh Start, a Community Interest Company aimed at removing barriers to work for prison leavers. The company offers employment support, assistance with resettlement, and work opportunities with social value employers.
2016
2019
RMF Training Academy is officially founded, expanding training fully to the local community. Inspired by helping those in custody transform their career prospects, RMF decided to offer this provision to all in need.

RMF Group launches our Equine programme in collaboration with a consortium of key partners, expanding our industry reach from construction and engineering.

RMF relaunches Fresh Start as a jobs board for all open work opportunities with our employer network. Our services in removing barriers to work are now part and parcel of all training offered, with a dedicated employment support coach and a mentoring scheme now on offer.
