Level 1 Health & Safety in a Construction Environment & CSCS Touch Screen Test
Upon successful completion of this course candidates will receive a Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment and the CSCS Green card should they pass the CSCS exam.
Banksman Safety Training
Upon successful completion of this course candidates will receive a Level 2 Banksman Safety Training Certificate. Learners will know the importance of directing traffic on a construction site and the importance to overall site safety of working appropriately with a Banksman.
Groundsworks Course
Upon successful completion of this course candidates will be better placed to secure a role for a groundworks and civil engineering contractor in the UK. This course covers: ground investigation, site clearance, stabilisation works, site services, and landscaping.
Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work
Upon successful completion of this course candidates will receive Level 3 First Aid at Work Award and individuals holding a valid Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification will meet the requirements for a suitably qualified first aider at work.
Manual Handling
Upon successful completion of this course candidates will receive a manual handling certificate. Learners will be able to understand and apply relevant manual handling guidelines and legislation when involved in work that requires manual handling.
Site Based
Abrasive Wheels
Upon successful completion of this course candidates will receive Abrasive Wheels Training Certificate. Learners will know what abrasive wheels are, how to use them and understand the health and safety requirements for working with abrasive wheels.
Cat and Genny Cable Avoidance Training
Upon successful completion of this course candidates will receive a Location and Avoidance of Underground Apparatus certificate. They will be able to interpret map and diagram symbols to be able to mark locations that should be avoided when digging and excavating.
Level 1 Painting & Decorating
Upon successful completion of this course candidates will be awarded Level 1 Diploma in Painting and Decorating. This course is designed to provide learners with an opportunity to acquire and develop the skills necessary to work as a painter and decorator in the construction sector.
Level 1 Tiling
Upon successful completion of this course candidates will be awarded Level 1 Diploma in Wall and Floor Tiling. This course aims to equip learners with the skills and proficiency necessary to work as a tiler in the construction sector.
Ride on Roller Course
Upon successful completion of this course candidates will receive a NPORS Ride-on-Roller Certificate. This course provides instruction in the correct operation of Ride on Roller for operators who will be using such vehicles on-site.
Forward Tipping Dumper Course
Upon successful completion of this course candidates will receive a NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper Certificate. This course provides instruction in correct operation of forward tipping dumpers for operators who will be using such vehicles on-site.
Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Rail Engineering & Track Maintenance
Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Rail Engineering & Track Maintenance. This qualification provides learners with the skills and knowledge needed for working in railway engineering and track maintenance, with instruction taking place on an authentic training site.
Personal Track Safety (PTS)
Upon successful completion of this course candidates will receive a Sentinel card required for working track-side. This programme includes Personal Track Safety e-learning, Practical learning and a Network Rail Medical.
Level 1 Diploma in Work-Based Horse Care
Upon successful completion of this course, candidates will receive a Manual Handling and Emergency First Aid at Work certification and gain the necessary knowledge to move on to an accredited equine course.
Level 1 Bricklaying
Upon successful completion of this course candidates will be awarded Level 1 Diploma in Bricklaying. This course provides learners with the chance to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in Bricklaying.
Level 1 Joinery
Upon successful completion of this course candidates will be awarded Level 1 Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery. This course is designed with the objective of training learners in essential carpentry and joinery skills for the construction sector.

HOW WE DELIVER TRAINING IN PRISONS
We work with a number of partners and employ different delivery strategies to ensure prisoners and prison leavers alike can access our training opportunities.
All our courses are funded through both the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) and Prison Education Framework. We are in close collaboration with HMPPS and the Ministry of Justice to ensure correct delivery
We are also part of the CFO3 scheme, delivering crucial support and services to offenders as soon as they leave custody to better facilitate their reintegration into society. This includes providing training as well as addressing barriers to work post-release.
OUR PRISON DELIVERY METHOD
We engage with each prison individually, to help you decide the appropriate training solution based on available budget, the prison infrastructure, and strategic objectives for prisoners. Course programmes are tailored to meet the requirements of the candidates and prison.
ENGAGE
Working collaboratively with the senior management team and candidates, we conduct an initial interview, offer career advice and guidance, and formulate a plan for each candidate.
IDENTIFY
We create an inclusive training environment, led by expert trainers and supported by state-of-the-art technology, including virtual reality and the use of simulators. Training takes place in custody, on ROTL, or on release at purpose-built training facilities, with in-cell learning as an additional option.
CREATE
All training programmes are employer-led, connecting learners to a pipeline of jobs linked to major projects throughout the UK. We can also direct candidates to employment opportunities through the RMF Fresh Start jobs board and our labour supply division, Resource Solutions post-release.
