The CPCS Slinger Signaller course properly prepares you to be the eyes and ears on the construction site.
Slinger Signallers provide necessary guidance to crane operators, ensuring the safety of all workers in proximity and the correct movement of loads.
The slinger signaller roles are a major responsibility – directing plant machinery that carries heavy loads requires keen awareness of your surroundings.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
Learners will be able to correctly establish the weight and dimensions of loads and communicate this to the crane operator.
Learners are shown how to identify the correct lifting tackle and how to attach and detach correctly.
Learners will know all the correct hand signals and how to use them clearly and unambiguously to direct crane action.
Learners will be able to determine the serviceability and quality of lifting accessories, and how to maintain and store them to ensure longevity.
