West Midlands Mayor's Quick Update About the Future of Local Labour

Mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street had insightful visit to our houndsfield lane facility. He was joined with our partners at solihull college, to oversee some of the training currently been undertaken. He revealed in a interview segment the importance of local Labour.

When asked about the post Covid-19 future The mayor stated “The commonwealth Games,” which will be held in Birmingham in 2022 “The combined Authority has funded, the skills hub at Perry Barr.” which has given a commitment of 400 local will be trained in construction skills for actually building out the games facilities.” This investment is a great way of helping the community, giving people the skills to have a career in construction. He continued “we are absolutely putting our money where our mouth is”.
